If you are unfamiliar with the reports, simply be aware that anything we do as "ambassadors" of the radio station to promote our relationship with the community, serve as public servants of sorts, or do a specific service to some one person or group as a community radio station, not only helps us to be a noteworthy staple in our local community, but also shows that we are providing our community a service... which is what your local radio station's primary job is. Any person in the nation (including representatives from the Federal Communications Commission) has the right to come in to our radio station during normal business hours and inspect these reports, even at random times without notice.
By law, all commercial radio stations are required to show their efforts to serve the local community in the Public Issues Reports, which are filed quarterly at both Thunderbolt offices on the 10th of January, April, July and October.
The input and experiences you are about to submit will benefit Thunderbolt Radio & Digital (your place of employment) by showing that you (and other staff members) took an active role in being proud community supporters. Your name, and the names you list on this survey, will be listed, along with the other information you provide, in the "Special Events" section of the Public Issues Reports.
Occasionally, these reports are shared with other stations for inspection and comparison to see how others like us can make their own improvements.
When filing this report, please be as descriptive as possible.
