Local law enforcement authorities recovered the theft of five recreational vehicles from I69 Motorsports in Union City.
Police reports said two Rzr’s valued at almost $57,000, along with two Rangers valued at $69,000, were recovered from two stolen vehicles on Saturday.
Another recreational vehicle was located upside down in a bean field ditch in the area of Highway 22 and Andrew Wheeler Road.
Officers with the Union City Police Department, Obion County Sheriff’s Office and Tennessee Highway Patrol first found an abandoned truck and trailer carrying a side-by-side on Highway 22.
The second stolen vehicle carrying three side-by-sides was recovered after fleeing from a deputy to Dyer County.
The stolen trucks used in the thefts were from Haywood County.
Police reports said the side-by-sides were taken from the Union City business, after $1,500 in damage was made to the fenced in area.
No arrests have been made, but the investigation is ongoing.
