The TSSAA Board of Control approved at its annual summer meeting Tuesday a 35-second shot clock for high school basketball games.
The rule features a four-year phased rollout, allowing schools to use it voluntarily starting in the 2026-27 season with full statewide implementation by 2029-30.
Officials, coaches, and table operators will be trained in the next few years through a coordinated effort designed by the TSSAA.
