Jessica Quarles Accused of Murder

Thirty one year old Jessica Quarles, the mother accused of killing her two daughters, was arraigned before Judge Jeff Parham in Obion County Circuit Court.  Quarles said she was unable to afford an attorney and remains without bond in the Obion County Jail.

 

Daughters–one year old Landrie Harris and 11 year old McKenna Young were found shot to death in their home in Kenton June 13th.

 

Quarles was found with apparent self inflicted stab wounds and was taken to a Memphis hospital. After being treated she was booked into the Obion County Jail.

 

Following a probe by the TBI and the Kenton Police Department, Quarles was identified as the suspect.

 

The Obion County Grand Jury levied numerous charges including Premeditated Murder.  Judge Parham has ordered a Psychiatric evaluation.   The next court day for Jessica Quarles will be in September.
