
An arrest has been made in the shooting death of a Paducah teenager on Monday night.
Paducah police reports said an investigation led to the arrest of a 14-year old male juvenile in connection with the death of a 17 year old male.
Reports said just before 11:00 on Monday night, officers responded to a shooting in the 1000 block of Bronson Avenue.
Police located the injured 17 year old, with first-aid administered until emergency personnel arrived.
The shooting victim was transported to a local hospital but did not survive.
Paducah detectives interviewed several individuals and conducted multiple search warrants on Tuesday, which determined the 14 year-old fired a handgun during an argument.
Police lodged the 14-year old in the McCracken County Juvenile Detention Center on a charge of murder.
