A Murfreesboro police detective has been indicted following a joint investigation by the TBI and the Tennessee Comptroller’s Office.
Authorities say 48-year-old Reginald Primas used police confidential funds for personal purchases, falsified a government document, and improperly accessed a criminal justice system.
A Rutherford County grand jury indicted Primas Tuesday on one count of theft, one count of forgery, two counts of falsifying a government document, and 13 counts of official misconduct.
Primas was booked into the Rutherford County Jail Wednesday on a $25,000 bond.
