 Gas prices march higher with no signs of slowing

Tennessee’s average gas price jumped four cents from $3.18 Tuesday to $3.22 Wednesday.

Lake County has the cheapest average gas price in the state at $3.03 while Williamson County has the highest at $3.49 a gallon.

Locally, Henry County’s average gas price is $3.09, Dyer County at $3.10, Weakley County at $3.15, Gibson County at $3.19, Obion County’s average gas price is $3.22 and Carroll County is at $3.24.

AAA Tennessee Public Affairs Director Stephanie Milani says the price of crude rose $6 dollars last week, which if sustained, could trigger another 10 to 15 cent hike at the pump in the coming weeks.
