Governor Bill Lee is asking utilities to prohibit disconnections for non-payment and insurance providers for flexibility over non-payment during the State of Emergency due to the COVID-19 virus.
During a media briefing Tuesday, Governor Lee announced he’d filed an emergency petition with the Tennessee Public Utility Commission.

Governor Lee has also delayed the deadline for franchise and excise business taxes to July 15th.
