It’s Income Tax Day

Today is a day that many checks will be written to the Internal Revenue Service.

While April 15th has been the traditional date for Tax Day over recent years, the filing date was pushed back to this April 18th day due to Emancipation Day being observed in Washington on Monday.

Filers can still request an extension, which will give them until October 16th to submit their full return.
