As electric crews are on standby for frozen precipitation in the forecast, the Weakley County Emergency Management Agency is reminding residents to be prepared for the subfreezing temperatures also in the forecast.

Wiggington says if the Red Cross opens a warming center, strict social distancing and mask requirements will be issued.

A Winter Storm Watch is in effect for the Ken-Tenn area through Thursday with temperatures forecast in the single digits by Saturday and Sunday nights.
