Martin Police investigating fatal shooting, victim identified

The Martin Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting that happened Saturday afternoon on North Lindell Street.

Assistant Chief Phillip Fuqua says around 5:20 Saturday afternoon, officers responded to the area of 406 North Lindell Street in reference to a disturbance and found 39-year-old Terry Wilson, Jr., of Martin, had died from an apparent gunshot wound.

Fuqua says the investigation is ongoing.
