The 10th annual Polar Plunge, scheduled for Saturday in Union City, has again been canceled.

Upper West Tennessee Area 7 Special Olympics Director Clinton Smith, said road conditions are the major factor in cancelling the event.

Director Smith said the plunge for Special Olympics has now been rescheduled to take place on March 6th at Aloha Pools and Spas in Union City.

Individuals and teams still have time to make plans for the event, with each participant asked to raise at least $50 for Special Olympics.

Registration for the jump into the pool can be done the day of the event in Union City.
