Tennessee’s average gas price continues to rise, jumping five cents over last week to $2.28.
Tennessee has the nation’s 9th least expensive average gas price.
Henry County once again has the cheapest average gas price in West Tennessee at $2.18 a gallon, with Gibson County at $2.27, Crockett County at $2.28, and Lake County at $2.29.
Obion and Dyer Counties’ average gas prices are at $2.31, Weakley County at $2.32, Benton County at $2.35, and Carroll County at $2.38.
AAA spokesperson Megan Cooper says Tennesseans will likely see more increases at the pump in the coming weeks as refineries prepare to switch to summer blend gasoline, which typically costs more to produce.
