Tennessee Department of Transportation to Help Traveling Holiday Motorists

The Tennessee Department of Transportation will help motorists with their travel plans for the Christmas and New Years holiday.

From midnight on Thursday, through 6:00 on the morning of January 3rd, all lane closure activity on interstates and state highways will be halted.

Triple-A is expecting more than 2.6 million Tennesseans to travel during the holiday season, with the majority of those driving to their destinations.
