Tennessee’s average gas price jumped 12 cents over last week to $2.41.

Henry County has the least expensive average gas price in Northwest Tennessee at $2.38.

Gibson County’s average gas price is $2.39, Dyer County at $2.40, Carroll County at $2.42, Obion County $2.43, Lake County at $2.49, and Weakley County’s average gas price is $2.53.

AAA spokesperson Megan Cooper says gas prices surged last week in the aftermath of forced refinery shutdowns in the Gulf Coast due to last week’s winter weather.
