Union City Adds K-9 Units to Police Department

The Union City Police Department has added some new members to their staff.

Police Chief Ben Yates told Thunderbolt News about the new additions for their patrols.(AUDIO)

Chief Yates said the new K-9 Units were made possible with monies from the drug fund.

To help secure the safety of police dogs, the Chief said the department was hoping to receive donations to provide ballistic vests for their on duty work.
