Union City Girls Playing for State Tennis Championship

The Union City Lady Tornadoes earned a berth in the Class 1A championship round and a rematch with defending champion Summertown with a tough 4-0 victory over University School of Johnson City Tuesday in Murfreesboro.
Union City has won seven straight matches, and are vying this morning (Wednesday) for the program’s first title in its fourth state tournament final appearance.
