Union City Police Investigating Business Burglary

Union City police were called to investigate a burglary at Car Toyz, on Old Rives Road.

Reports said business owner Maurice Jones, of Jackson, told officers someone had entered the business sometime between May 3rd and May 6th.

Jones showed officers a shattered window that was used to make entry.

Once inside the building, reports said a seven-inch Pioneer touch-screen radio and two amplifiers were taken from a customers vehicle.

A camera in the business did detect a white, or mixed male subject with a flashlight, who was wearing glasses, a bandana for a face mask, a cap, and long sleeved shirt.

Police reports said the value of the stolen items was placed at approximately $4,200.
