Union City to Honor Bobby Wheeles With Naming of Stadium
For years of service in the youth baseball leagues in Union City, the Babe Ruth Stadium will take the name of Bobby Wheeles.
Union City Council members have expressed full support to a request to naming their Babe Ruth Stadium.
During Tuesday’s meeting, Parks and Recreation Director Robin Francis submitted a request to honor longtime youth coach Bobby Wheeles. (AUDIO)
Following discussion, Council members voted unanimously to the renaming request.
