Union City Woman Charged After Skip-Scanning at Wal-Mart

A Union City woman was cited to court, and barred from Wal-Mart properties, after being seen skip-scanning items at the self checkout.

Union City police were called to the West Reelfoot Avenue location, after 38 year old Sabrina Morris was observed scanning only partial grocery items.

A Theft Prevention employee showed the actions of Ms. Morris to the officers, with the unscanned items totaling almost $149 dollars.

Reports said Ms. Morris was escorted from the Wal-Mart store and charged with shoplifting.
