Union City High School quarterback Wes Tilghman has been named Class-2A All-State by the Tennessee High School Football Coaches Association.
Communications Director Mike Hutchens said Tilghman was one of four quarterbacks chosen in Class-2A.
This past season, Tilghman recorded more than 2,000 all-purpose yards for the Golden Tornadoes, who finished (6-5) on the year.
The senior rushed for 1,447 yards and 19 touchdowns, and threw for 251 yards.
During the year, Tilghman also served as a kick returner, punter and one of the teams top tacklers over the last month of the season.
