Union City police were called to respond to shots fired in the area of East Gate on Nash Street.
Police reports said officers arrived to see lots of foot traffic in the area, but all subjects stated they did not see anything.
One witness did describe a vehicle and individual who fired several shots in an unknown direction.
The witness said the individual returned to his vehicle, did a U-turn at College and Nash Street and left the scene.
An inspection by officers on the scene revealed five shell casings on College Street and ten .9-milimeter casings on Nash Street.
Police reports said no additional witnesses or potential victims had come forward concerning the shots being fired.
