The 13th annual Polar Plunge will take place in Union City on Saturday.
The event is held to raise funds for Special Olympics of West Tennessee.
This year’s goal is $20,000, which will benefit over 400 athletes in Obion, Weakley, Lake, Henry and Carroll County.
Plungers will dive into a pool at Aloha Pools and Spas, located on West Reelfoot Avenue.
All plungers must raise a minimum of $75, and are encouraged to wear a costume during their jump into the water.
The Polar Plunge will begin with registration at 10:00, with plunging to start at 11:00.
