A Western Kentucky State Senator has sponsored a bill dealing with citizenship and voting.
Senator Jason Howell, a graduate of Fulton County High School and resident of Murray, is the sponsor of Senate Bill 143.
Senator Howell recently spoke about his bill during the State Senate Committee on State and Local Government.(AUDIO)
Because Senate Bill 143 proposes a Constitutional Amendment, it would be on the ballot for all Kentucky voters to ratify or reject.
The bill now moves to the full Senate for consideration.
