The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory for all of the Ken-Tenn area until 1:00 tonight, along with a rare High Wind Warning that includes Lake County.

Forecasters say the Wind Advisory is for sustained southeast winds from 25-to-30 mile per hour before midnight, with gusts possibly reaching 55 miles per hour.

The High Wind Warning, which also includes Mississippi, Dunklin and Pemiscot County in Southeast Missouri, is from 2:00 until 10:00 tonight.

The counties in the warning area could have wind gusts of up to 60 miles per hour.

Weather Service officials say the damaging winds could down trees and power lines, with travel difficult for high profile vehicles.

Forecasts for tonight also call for the possibility of thunderstorms, which could produce heavy rainfall.
