A Troy man has been charged with the theft of items from Walmart in Union City.
Union City police reports said 37 year old Henry Saunders will appear in Obion County General Sessions Court on April 16th on the theft charge.
The report said Walmart security personnel advised police that an individual, who had committed a previous theft, had returned to the store and again took multiple items without paying.
The individual left his card at the self checkout area, with revealed his identity.
The police report stated Saunders came back inside the store to exchange a pair of stolen jeans, and was detained by the officer.
Saunders admitted to the theft of merchandise, which was valued at almost $220.
