Two Obion County Central Students Receive Honors at State SkillsUSA

Two students at Obion County Central High School were recognized at the state SkillsUSA competition in Chattanooga.

School Communications Director Lauren Kendall said senior John Wesley Martin was named the State Champion in Motorcycle Service Technology.

During the competition, Martin showcased proficiency and dedication in motorcycle maintenance.

Junior student Jesus Sarmiento-Maldonaldo took home State Runner-Up honors in the field of barbering.

During his competition, Sarmiento-Maldonado demonstrated his talent and skill in the art of hair styling.

Both students received their training in the Obion County Central Career Technical Education program.
