The Tennessee Highway Patrol will be conducting checkpoints in Obion County.
A safety belt checkpoint will take place Friday at the intersection of State Route 5 and Garrigan Road.
This checkpoint will start at 3:00 in the afternoon.
On Saturday in Obion County, a sobriety checkpoint has been planned for 9:00 on State Route 431 at the State Route 22 overpass.
Troopers will be checking for those who may be operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
