Multiple law enforcement officials were called to detain and transport a Union City resident following repeated 911 calls.
Union City police reports said officers responded to 2720 East Reelfoot Avenue, where 31 year old Morgan Alyssa Hilton was inside the home screaming and acting in an aggressive manner.
A look into the residence by police showed Ms. Hilton with a possible knife, and another individual on the bed in a bedroom.
When hearing threats to kill the individual, an officer was forced to shatter the glass of a sliding door to enter the home.
Police reports said due to the knife and aggressive nature toward the victim, the officer deployed his taser on Hilton.
After the intended victim was taken from the residence, multiple officers and emergency personnel were on the scene due to the threats, resistance and fighting from Ms. Hilton.
Police reports said she was finally strapped to a stretcher and later transferred to the Obion County Jail.
Ms. Hilton was charged with especially aggravated kidnapping, aggravated assault, and three counts of assault on a peace officer.
