Union City’s Keaton Brown has won the state Class-A championship in discus.
During track and field competition in the TSSAA State Tournament in Murfreesboro, Brown bested the field of eight qualifiers to win the title.
Tycen Willis, of Huntingdon, placed second in the event.
During competition on Tuesday, Brown also took third place in shot put.
