Union City Police Department Issues Charges in Vehicle Thefts and Burglaries

An investigation into stolen vehicles in Union City has led to charges being issued.

Union City police began an investigation into a series of stolen vehicles and auto burglaries in mid-May from various neighborhoods.

On May 14th, a vehicle was stolen from the Ware apartment complex, with two vehicles stolen from the Bel Aire subdivision two day later.

On May 30th, three vehicles were taken from a residence in the Pleasant Valley community.

Through the investigation, police learned five juveniles and one adult took part in the burglaries and theft.

Police say the juveniles will face charges that range from burglary to theft.

The adult in the case, Tyler N. Collins, is currently wanted on warrants for aggravated robbery and theft.
