A Hornbeak man was arrested on multiple charges following a dispatch to Food Plaza, on West Reelfoot Avenue in Union City.

Police arrived to find a store employee outside with 65 year old Micheal Timothy Busby, who would not pay for almost $70 in gasoline.

Reports said Busby told the officer he would pay for the fuel, but would act as if he was paying at the cash register when he had no money in his hand.

When attempting to place Busby into custody, the police report said he became passive aggressive when told to place his hands behind his back.

Busby was finally arrested, with two schedule four pills located in his wallet.

He was charged with theft of property, resisting arrest and simple possession of a schedule four drug.
