The TSSAA has announced high school football realignment for the 2025-2029 cycle.
With the realignment, Union City and Obion County Central make a classification move.
Next season, Class A will include South Fulton, McKenzie, Dresden, Greenfield, Lake County, Hollow Rock-Bruceton, West Carroll, Humboldt and the smallest playing school in the state, Gleason.
Class 2A will now include Union City, along with Trenton, Huntingdon, Milan and Halls.
Class 3A will now include Obion County Central, along with Westview, Covington and Dyersburg.
Class 4A will have South Side, South Gibson and Dyer County, with Henry County playing in Class 5A.
