Obion County Mayor Steve Carr says the Obion County Nursing Home is not for sale.
During Monday’s Budget Committee meeting, Mayor Carr said he wanted to negate a false rumor that has spread on social media.(AUDIO)
In his statement to the board and those in attendance, Mayor Carr said he wanted to set the record straight to help alleviate unneeded concerns by nursing home staff, employees and residents.(AUDIO)
Several of the Budget Committee members said they were also caught off guard, when they started receiving calls about the local nursing home.
