
The Martin Board of Alderman approved multiple bids regarding construction at the Martin Recreation Complex during their meeting on Monday.
Construction of new pickleball courts was awarded to NSite for $118,000, pickleball court light installation was given to Bunch Electric for $29,250.
The new playground will be built by NSite for $123,200 and the walking trail re-surfacing will be done by Ford Construction for $69,100.
The project will be mostly funded by a $630,000 grant awarded to the City of Martin. The cost to the city is estimated to be around $59,000.
Construction is expected to be complete by summer.
