Weakley County Students Attend SCOPE Event in Nashville

A group of student from Weakley County recently traveled to Nashville for the Tennessee School Boards Association Student Congress on Policies in Education (SCOPE).

The event, which took place at Belmont University, gave the students the opportunity to discuss important education issues.

For 42 years, the SCOPE program has given students a platform to speak about and contribute to discussions regarding education policies. Discussions were led by school board members and superintendents from across Tennessee.

Representing Weakley County Schools at this year’s event were:
