
The results of storms and flooding from April 2nd through April 6th proved to be very costly for the Obion County Highway Department.
During Monday’s County Commission meeting, Highway Department Superintendant Kevin Dunn said damages to roads and infrastructure was more than a million dollars.
Following the meeting, Dunn told Thunderbolt News about the extent of the damage.(AUDIO)
Dunn said crew members are continuing to repair the damage caused by the severe flooding.(AUDIO)
Dunn said the damage included culverts, guard rails and black top that washed away during the heavy rainfall.
