
Union City police are still investigating a large number of vehicle burglaries that occurred last Friday.
Officers investigated nine locations in which vehicles were entered, or attempts were made to make entry.
Investigations show three individuals, with each wearing full face masks, were responsible for the burglaries.
Police reports indicated a purse was taken from one vehicle. The purse was later located and returned.
A vehicle burglary on East Church Street resulted in $1,400 in cash taken from a console, along with a $325 pair of sunglasses taken.
Union City Police Chief Ben Yates said officers are still working to identify those responsible for the thefts.
