Two Kentucky Senator’s issued a statement following the death of 1st Circuit Commonwealth Attorney Mike Stacy, of Kevil.
Stacy was killed, and his son Micheal “Bo” Stacy II, was injured in a one vehicle accident Tuesday afternoon off of U.S.-51 just north of Clinton.
First District Senator Jason Howell and Second District Senator Danny Carroll issued the statement saying it was “hard to accept that horrible things happen to good people”.
The Senators called Stacy a “respected voice for justice, a dedicated public servant, and a fixture in the courtroom who earned the trust of families in Fulton, Hickman, Carlisle and Ballard County.”
Senator Howell and Carroll said they joined the community in mourning Stacy’s passing, while “honoring the life of a man who spent his career standing up for others.”
