Weakley County General Sessions Judge Tommy Moore has been named the Citizen of the Year for The Tennessee Iris Festival in Dresden.
Judge Moore says he is humbled to receive the title.
Judge Moore tells us that he learned to make the community better from a lesson that his father taught him.
Mr. Moore says he has lived in Dresden all his life and could not see himself living anywhere else.
The Iris Festival starts tonight at 6 with the kickoff ceremony and music festival on the court square.
