
The Gibson County Circuit Court has sentenced a man to 12 years in jail.
In August of 2022, Timothy Fields II was arrested for the shooting of Joshua Caleb Warrington and for the possession of a felony amount of cocaine.
In March of 2025, a three day trial was held for Fields. The jury convicted him of possession of cocaine with the intent to sell and possession of a firearm during a dangerous felony.
Fields had been indicted for first degree murder, but was acquitted for self-defense.
Fields will serve eight years at 30 percent release eligibility for possession of cocaine, plus an additional four years at 100 percent for possession of a firearm.
