UT Martin Provost and Senior Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs Dr. Philip Cavalier has been named as the new president of Kutztown University in Pennsylvania.
Dr. Cavalier received unanimous approval for the position by the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education Board of Governors. His appointment as president will be effective July 6th.
Dr. Cavalier came to UTM in July of 2018 as the Chief Academic Officer. He also served as Interim Chancellor from March 1st, 2023 until Dr. Yancy Freeman took over.
Chancellor Freeman said an interim provost will be announced in the coming days.
