Dresden won the District 14A Softball Championship last night, defeating Union City 9-8 in nine innings. Dresden will now move on to the regional tournament on Monday.
Head Coach Aalia Bivens said she was proud of her team for responding well to adversity against Union City.
Coach Bivens says she purposely gave her team a difficult schedule this year to make them better.
Bivens took the time to highlight some of the players on her team.
Dresden will play Clarksburg in Dresden on Monday night at 5. They hope the community will show up to support the Lions.
