The Martin Board of Alderman discussed a proposal for collecting property taxes from the Weakley County Trustee during their informal meeting on Tuesday.
Alderman Jacob Crowe gave Thunderbolt Radio more details about the proposal.
Alderman Crowe says it doesn’t make much financial sense for Martin at this time.
The Board of Alderman declined to add the proposal to their agenda for their next meeting on May 12th.
