A contract has been signed to conduct a feasibility study for the Obion County School System.
The idea was initiated by the full County Commission, due to an additional funding request by the school system to continue current operations.
Director of Schools Tim Watkins said Lewis Group of Chattanooga has been hired to conduct the study.

While an actual date of the feasibility study has not been determined, Director Watkins said he has learned the process will take two-to-three days.
A final report of the study is the expected to be released in late December.
