Obion County Budget Committee members took a stance toward school funding at a short meeting on Monday.
Following the monthly County Commission meeting, Budget member Rob Holman was the only board member to speak, calling the school issue the most critical decision to be made in his seven years in office.
Holman then read from a prepared statement addressing the school issue.(AUDIO)

Holman ended the presentation with a funding motion for the school system.(AUDIO)
Following the presentation, Budget Committee members voted 6-to-0 to accept the motion, with one member abstaining.
