Union City already knew its Class 1A West Sectional opponent.
Now, the Tornadoes know when the games will be played.
School Communications Director Mike Hutchens said Union City will host Memphis Academy for Science and Engineering (7-6) for a best 2-of-3 series on Thursday with Game 1 scheduled for 2:00 and a second contest is scheduled for 4:30 at Elam Stadium.
A third game, if needed, would be played on Friday at 2 p.m.
The winner of the series will advance to the state tournament, slated to begin next Tuesday in Murfreesboro.
Union City is now (23-8) and winners of 10 in a row.
They are seeking to return to the Spring Fling for the second straight year.
The Tornadoes have qualified for the state tourney 11 times.
