The National Weather Service says there is the chance of strong to severe thunderstorms in the Ken-Tenn area for Friday.
Forecasters have already placed the area in a slight risk zone for the possibility of storms.
The main threat on Friday will be large hail and damaging winds, with the chance of tornadoes and heavy rainfall also possible.
Current forecasts indicate the possible thunderstorms could begin in the late afternoon, and extend into the evening hours.
