Weakley County Municipal Electric System General Manager Andrea Harrington spoke to the Dresden City Board on Monday night regarding the broken street lights on Highway 22.
Ms. Harrington explained that the highway light repairs were the responsibility of the city, but that WCMES could be contracted to repair them.
Harrington said fixing the lights would cost Dresden $30,726, due to the cost of lights and poles.
The Board of Aldermen will now look at their options for repairing the lights.
