Obion County Mayor Steve Carr said budget discussions concerning the county school system have been difficult and trying.
Following this week’s Budget Committee meeting, which included a vote for no additional school funding, Mayor Carr talked with Thunderbolt News about the issue.(AUDIO)

Budget Committee members voted 6-to-0 to fund the school system with last year’s figure of just under $9.3 million dollars.
